Our waiter, who is very nice, tells us that he is going to go check with the manager and see if our party can stay longer. That information would have been so very helpful. We did tell them that the booking was for a Birthday. It also would have been nice to be informed that no outside food (birthday cake) is allowed to be brought in. That’s fine and it makes perfect sense but why was that not mentioned when we made the reservations in the first place? Why did someone not say or even know in advance that there was an event on that evening? They could have told us about the event and 90 minute limit, and suggested to come another evening.

There happened to be an event on this evening and thats why the 90 minute limit. At 6pm we were finally told that we only have a 90 minute slot that began at 5pm, to get in, eat and get out. My mom wanted to arrive early and got there at 5pm but her guests were not arriving until 5:30 to 6pm. The waitress told me that some managers will allow vegetarians/vegans a 50% discount, so she would go as the manager and this particular manager said no to any form of discount. A few of us in the party of people were vegan and asked if we could get a discount as the total price was $33 for the buffet. I had made a birthday cake for her and we were not allowed to bring it in. So her and her partner ended up having to take a cab that cost a total of $90.
